IT IS UNDENIABLE people love pizza and what better way to enjoy it locally than at Carlisle’s Pizza Tavern on Roswell’s beloved Canton Street. Since arriving at this location in October 2015, primary business owner and pizza enthusiast Mike Heald uses his many years of experience to promote an environment emphasizing a local experience perfect for social gatherings.
Originally constructed as Belly’s Pizza after the name of his daughter back in 2007, Heald has taken his original take-out business venture to create a spacious dine-in restaurant and bar with the use of his daughter’s middle name this time around. Combining his knowledge of fresh pizza with prior bar ex-perience at the Roswell Tap, Carlisle’s offers the best of both worlds. His continuous passion for bring-ing quality pizza to the masses has been the driving force behind the journey.
Canton’s delectable dining options are one of Roswell’s many staples. With included patio space in both the front and back, customers can take in a view of the street while enjoying the many specialty pizza and craft brewery selections. Televisions are always running the biggest sporting events and the many beer taps are always ready to bring the best variety of Georgia brew. Invite family or friends for trivia on Wednesdays or enjoy the live music every Thursday through Friday.
Veggie lovers can enjoy a salad-style pizza and meat lovers can enjoy the BBQ/Buffalo options or spice things up with the jerk chicken pie. If you prefer to do it your own way, the traditional build-your-own style is always available.
If you are craving quality ingredient pizza or a nice cold one for the big game, then this is your best bet. Carlisle’s Pizza Tavern is located on 1132 Canton St. and is open daily from 11am-10pm Sunday through Thursday and 11am-11pm for Friday nights. To learn more, call (770) 594-8118.
